CC must be tearing his hair out as a lot of the 'winnable games' have been lost.
Unfortunately, there is now pressure that wasn't there earlier in the season.
I agree, this is a must win game, but we'll have to see much improvement to win it!

Why would we GIVE YOUTH A CHANCE at this stage of the season? Surely it's experience we need to see us through this rough patch.
Would you really want to GIVE YOUTH A CHANCE with our upcoming fixtures??

| it is the so called experienced players who have put us were we are Kirmo and Finn are not up to S L standed Hirst as been poor this season Horo as not been the player we though he was. These players were the ones that played against the so called smaller teams .We won the first 4 did not play well but put it down to the wet pitches. Now we have hard pitches we seem to be getting slower at passing ball/ moving forward while passing ball.Rocky Jowitt ,Batch have Had to play against the likes ofHull,Leeds,Cas and with a few 50 50 calls we could have won them all.So why Should they not be given a chance.Widnes and Leeds are doing it now and both seem to be faster than us at moving the ball .

| Widnes gave a good account of themselves against Saints, but came undone - certainly didn't disgrace themselves against the best side in the comp; if they play like that against us, I can't see us having enough to get the win. Unless of course there is some remarkable turnaround and we can suddenly defend properly, put on an attacking play and stop giving away stupid penalties.
Tough one - we both need the win - league position would suggest we're favourites, but our recent form is dreadful.

Agreed.
It really isnt the time to start "experimenting".
It's all about beating Widnes and Chester will go for tried and tested, cant see much change from the "magic" side, although, I think we need to put either Randal or Hampshire at SH.

To be honest I wouldn't mind seeing Rocky at FB again, Woody dropping into HB with Randell playing the full 80 minutes.

| Rocky needs to be developed at half back where his kicking game can be developed.
Now is the time to give Max an extended run at full back.
In attack he has an excellent pass which has put TJ in for several tries.
To any doubters......Yes I would give youth a chance, without doing so, we will never know.
It is not as though they will not be surrounded by plenty of experienced players who now need to dig a little bit harder than recent performances.
Nice to see Annakin back and we should be looking at young Crowther playing 2 or 3 games with us in June and July he has earned it with his performances in the championship.

Assuming that we make the top 8, which in no longer a given, Chester will have plenty of time to set his squad up for next season.
Granted, this will mean players coming in when we have some tough fixtures but, now is definitely not the time to experiment.
We have to secure a top 8 spot first, second and last.
Toronto will be a test for anyone in the bottom 4 and we just cant afford to drop into "the qualifiers".
