No where near our full strength team?? I'd say that if all fit 12/13 of that squad today would be in our opening day 17! Only the 3 overseas players and Lee Smith & ali were missing. Fev were also missing a few as stated above.

Reality check performance, fev deserved the win. The result doesn't matter and other than confidence no harm is done. It has no real bearing on how the season will go but it shows there is plenty of work to do in the next 5 weeks to be ready.

Our kicking game and PTB needs to improve that's for sure.

Conceded a contender for the quickest try ever scored in a rugby league game and it didn't get much better after that.

dummy half play was all over the place with players on different wavelengths, handling was shocking with more passes going over, behind players or onto the floor than went to hand.

We got beaten on the outside for all but one of Featherstones tries so that problem still exists at the moment.

We'll have to improve massively in the next few weeks or predictions of a bottom 2 placing look bang on.

Doubt we'll be seeing Smith on the wing, he'll be at centre and one of Briscoe or Lyne will be on the flank. And one of those you mention hasn't even signed for us yet! So five it is!

That was a dour, boring and low skilled game, played in terrible conditions in the freezing cold in a stadium that is still bloody awful, new stand or not.

Taking into account apparently how we got beat on the outside Lee Smith is more likely to be wing than Fox or Lynne with Keinhorst at centre with Collis...but we'll see. Hope Raleigh had a good run out..

The pitch was very sticky but fev handled the conditions much better and could have won by a bigger margin if I'm honest.

Disappointing thing for me was some of the brain farts in decision making which we saw numerous times last year. First tackle throwing it to the winger on the blind side and watching him get piled in touch
