We can all harp on about the off the field issues which are obviously a nightmare factor, but combining that with Kear's often bizarre selections and interchanges, dismally dull strategies, and seeming inability to motivate the squad took this season well off the rails months ago. When you think that we need to get crowds in to support our application for SL life after next year, Kear's preferred playing style is not helping.

Wakefield supporters are a fickle bunch anyway, and to have this season's disappointment come after Kear's otherwise good, sometimes brilliant tenure hurts a lot of us even more.

When you consider everything on and off the pitch, it looks very bleak for 2012 onwards, so we NEED that stadium to start being built since we don't have much else to show the RFL.

Things are looking bleak...

Crap players in our side atm, the coach not improving things even though he has been given PLENTY of time...
Then were linked to Micheal Worrincey and Kevin Penny... It looks as though the stadium decision won't be heard at the end of September so a further delay to the stadium. No player announcements as of yet.

TRB is the only person keeping the club going! I think even Jacko has given up the ghost!

When we are vying for top spot at the new stadium I won't begrudge TRB doing a lap of honour before kick-off.

Just something hinted at earlier in the week, and with the amount of delays that have already happened I wouldnt be at all surprised, !!!!!!!!

I asked people to stay strong earlier this summer when all the debate about sharing stadia was ongoing - and we came out of that OK.

From what I have heard we have had a tremendous week (I hope one of my cohorts will back me up on this). We can only go as fast as the system allows, but that is exactly what we are doing with regard to the stadium.

Having been at the game today, I am as frustrated as anyone at the lack of application shown by our side. I am also very aware of the difficulties we are having with recruitment - but it's not the first time we've been bargain hunting - and we all said that Moore / Bibey / Golden / Blaymire were poor signings, yet we did OK with them. Remember, a good recipe is more than just the ingredients!

But, I am also aware that a change in our status on the ground, i.e. getting OPP, WILL make a massive difference to how we are viewed by all - including potential players & coaches (if needed). Therefore I still maintain that this is the ONLY chance we have of moving forward and therefore progress in this area has to be a SIGNIFICANT POSITIVE towards our future - even if we are all down because of what happened on the pitch today.

Thats not what I have been informed, I have heard we are very much on track for a planning hearing in september.

I have backed JK to the hilt this is no knee jerk reaction but at last I feel it is time for a change but I will always have the upmost respect for John Kear, but it is time for him to move on.

If so please please not Harrison, Powell, Sharpe time to look at an Aussie coach with modern coaching skills

I admire your optimism TRB! I genuinely hope we are surprised as it seems like everything hinges on us getting our own shiny new stadium.

Something just feels different about Trin this year. It's even more dull to watch than ever. We've got cast offs and bargain players as per usual, several of them to attempt to fill the void left by Brough, Tronc, Newton to a lesser extent, but unlike '07 and '08, and even '09, the application and desire just isn't there, and the names we've been linked to (and their respective positions that they fill) don't bode terribly well. They don't even seem to paper any cracks, never mind fill them... I really do think we need a change to get that spark back into the dressing room and recapture the underdog spirit. Who could do that job for us is a completely different matter
