Some sides get caned on it ourselves being one of them. But it’s such a fine line and in my opinion a grey area .
On Friday I thought the sin binning was the correct call. which turned the game in HKRs favour(although we were on the back foot at the time)However the the six again rule seems to be applied to the lesser sides in SL and is a penalty that Kendall applies all to easily in games that he is reffing..'"
Along with the "golden point" the six again is not a rule a rule that I'm in favour of. I appreciate that it is there to speed the game up, but it is open to such easy abuse as you infer. A penalty seems a more positive decision, although I suppose that is also open to similar mis-use.
There was one instance of blatant obstruction that led to a Rovers try that was seen by most of the crowd yet "missed" by Kendall. Referees are almost untouchable and appear to be answerable to no one. The standard is lower now than anytime.
