He's not the messiah some on here make out but he's a useful player for most SL clubs to be interested. It all boils down to cash I suppose. One thing for certain, either he doesn't want to play for us anymore or we don't want him or both if no negotiations took place. For whatever reason, he's not a Trinity player anymore, so I say let's concentrate on and support those who are.

Belive he is training to be a sparky,this is a oriblem with rugby league kyke as played top level rugby for many a year but now he coming to end of his career he needs to learn a trade.even 2nd and 3rd teir footballers dont need to do that

He's a strange one is Hampshire. Popular with fans yet not with coaches it would appear. It's ok everyone on here blasting CC or WP but they only seem to think the same that all his previous coaches. They can't all be wrong. There is clearly something there that we don't see.

I really like the guy and was pleased when we managed to get him after he'd eluded us at Wigan, Cas and Leigh. You do get the feeling he's suffered within the club because of the zealeotry of some of his supporters.

It got quite ridiculous at times and can only have hindered him. I remember one of his bigger fans claiming him to be the best H/B of his generation, I honestly don't see how anyone can think this sort of OTT nonsense helps the lad. It puts unrealistic expectations on the player's shoulders, a player who himself never seemed anything other than modest.

It also puts other peoples backs up, even if it's only subconscious, it just doesn't help. In this respect, I feel very sorry for Hampshire who always seemed a very reluctant hero.

I don't know what the coaches see and don't see, but whenever this happens to a player that looks great it tends to be because they can't follow the game plan.

Hampshire is an absolute athlete. When he has the ball either at his feet or on a breakaway he is one of the best. But if he's not moving in the same direction it would disrupt the coaches plans.

I've no idea if that's the case but there has to be something. It can't be that every coach doesn't see his talent or doesn't like him.

Could it possibly be his vaccination status. We have 2 games in France, 4 if we are unlucky on the loop fixtures, thats about 14% of games unavailable by choice, nevermind injury. With him being an anti masker, it is also possible he is anti vaccination.

If so, he has the right not to mask/vax.

Equally, the club have the right to not renew his contact.

I can’t believe I have to post but as per usual in order to try to impress those in charge you did not read what I actually wrote. What I said was I was leaving this side but not the forum in its entirety. I will still post my views on Boris and his band on the side that appears to be Vastman free the Sin Bin. I was not equating the club with the shambles that currently run the country, if only you would take more care before jumping on your high horse.
Whilst I am here let us not forget that as part of being in SL we must one week run a reserve team and an under 18 side the next.

I wouldn't rule out your theory but on the assumption he stays in super league he would still have the same problem surely?
