I wonder if that Leigh lose forward might be available come the end of season

| Yep...certainly not pretty and definitely not a patch on last weeks performance, but I'll take an ugly win any day of the week.
We will certainly need to play like we did last week to get anything out of Wire and Cas though

| Chester said that Tanginoa's injury not too bad thankfully.
He also mentioned the occasion when Kershaw didn't go for the line, so I'd assume T.J. will be a shoe-in for next week.

He’s a classy player, he makes mistakes because he takes chances. Now the chances are turning to gold more than they were. Best S/H since Finn 2018 and for me far more of a Trinity H/B than the recently canonised Sam Williams.

Yep I’m afraid that did not help his cause, a winger has to score those IMHO.
That said TJ is in a class of his own and so long as he is fit he’s a far better winger than either Kay or Kershaw or just about any SL winger.

He's top class, tackles everything and has good hands.

| Good win something for everybody. Poor performance for the doom and gloomers to rejoice,
but a win to make the rest of us happy.

If Westy does move on and Leigh go down then who knows!

| Good performance imho Leigh were definitely up for this like most teams in sport when a coach departs they always seem to step up a level. Let's not forget this Leigh side ran Wigan and Saints very close and had the chance to win both those games. When we fell behind in the second half we didn't panic and looked determined to win the game. Well played lads.

Exactly what we said on way home

| A nervous win but hardly a surprise given the gravity and consequence of a win or loss for both sides.
Think we tried to force things a little today at times and we played quite lateral before we earned the right to do so in the middle.
We seemed a little flat for periods of the game.
Few bits of quality brought it home though.
I actually thought we lacked a little direction from the halves today but Lino showed his ability with his try and kicking game to bring us home in the last 15.
We looked much better when we were going direct rather than drifting across the field.
Very frustrating in the first half where we had them on the wrack and persistently released the pressure with silly mistakes.
The performance though today was relatively inconsequential as long as we got the win, so from that point of view, job done.

| In our last 3 home games all resulting in wins Mason Lino has kicked 16 goals from 17 attempts, his only miss hitting the crossbar against Shudds and also chipping in with a couple of tries. It's a great asset to have knowing every try scored will nearly always be a 6 pointer, a luxury Hull fc have had for years with Sneyd .

This also puts the opposition into thinking they can't give penalties away in kicking range.

| Looked n the first half that Leigh were here to niggle us and it payed off to a degree. We weren't completing sets and striking out at players. At one point we threw the ball at a Leigh player's head. Fortunately there was no penalty. I too thought Leigh were the better team for much of the game with the forwards making many clean breaks, particularly Bell. Two points is two points though, and I'm glad of them. Next week'll be quite a tester.
