| As regards access to Belle Vue , at present there are 6 roads which reach the perimeter of the stadium.

Thanks for that, I've not heard the interview.

| Great news.
I think the design of it looks really good, better than Newmarket.
Huge thank you to Michael, Chris and everyone else involved.
Hopefully this is the missing piece of the jigsaw, ans the club can continue to grow.
As for parking, if it became an issue, would there be a possibility of the club obtaining a bit of land near the power station, just to turn into a car park, or alternatively, work with local transport companies with a view to maybe a park and ride scheme from the city centre.

| This is potentially great news and just what I always wanted (stay at Belle Vue). I will feel more comfortable if we get to November and all key terms are agreed.
I've always said stay at Belle Vue if possible. Even though distance wise Newmarket was better for me (I travel on the M62 to matches) I think BV is better. More central and easier for all fans to get to, especially with public transport (including away fans).
As for parking, the BBC article states that parking is one of the SL criteria so I'm sure this is covered. But to be honest why are people questioning this, can't you just park where you have done historically? I've often been in or around Sugar Lane and this can continue. To be honest with on street parking I think Belle Vue is one of the best grounds in Super League to get parking and I've been to every UK based Super League ground plus a few Championship ones too.
I am a little hesitant hearing YorkCourt are still involved. So they should be in many respects as they should be held to account. However are we yet in a position to trust them to be honourable and to deliver? I hope the council are holding them over a barrel and they play fair. Also with YorkCourt involved I hope that Sir Rodney is not lurking somewhere in the background. I'm sure MC has considered all these potential scenarios so if he is happy then we can all feel reassured. So come on now Wakefield Council, finally deliver what we've been crying out for over these last 30+ years.

| Well done to you guys, your chairman and the fans who worked so hard on the Trust. Glad you're staying at BV.
A lot being said about parking, as a Wigan fan the thought of parking has never concerned me knowing I will get an on street space not too far away from the ground.
The date of 2020, is this the start of the season or sometime during it?
Once again, well done all!

Did the church give the land where bv is sure I read it somewhere. And that is where trinity comes from (trinity church)

I thought that but the church is not "Trinity" church, or at least it isn't called that today. Isn't it St Catherine's or some such like?

Yup there is some not quite right here. As people say it's really only an artists impression but the whole thing looks very land locked to me. If anything access is worse than it is now.
I really don't want to be a killjoy but it falls a bit short in some key areas.
We will see though I'm confident MC wouldn't agree to something unworkable.

Wakefield Trinity was formed by a Church boys club way back in 1870s to keep young lads occupied and out of trouble, the Trinity part comes from the Holy Trinity, the Father [God] the son [Jesus Christ] and the Holy Spirit [Holy Trinity meaning one God in 3 Divine Persons]

| Really can't believe the negativity regarding an artist impression .......where the hell have people parked for the last god knows how many years?? . In the sixties we had much greater crowds than 10000 and we seemed to manage then...where do we park at Headingley, Halliwell Jones , Castleford etc.... Lets enjoy what could be a fantastic ending to a fantastic season....

Re the parking issue. Yes your right so far as fans are concerned. However as MC states we need to up our income and that usually comes from corporate/high end stuff. Those people tend to expect on site parking and tbh I can't see any.
I prefer BV to NM always have as we retain our soul imho. However NM still offers more income growth potentially than this particular version of a revamped BV.
As I say if there is a plan for car parking then fine it's just not evident on the plans and it is required imho.
