| I have been to Boca Juniors versus Rivers Plate in Argentina. I was stood below the away supporters with no roof above me. I spent 2 hours dodging bleach, cups of urine, and bags of poo. Police helicopters hovering above the whole game, riot police on the pitch at all times, several police checkpoints everywhere around the ground. That was a hostile atmosphere to say the least. People wrapping paper around their heads to cover the blood that was dripping from them, whilst dodging further flying coins from above.
In all seriousness, Rugby league is a family game, and we all love our great game for this. I have been on both forums today, and the Wakefield forum is certainly accepting more blame than on the Cas forum, where apart from a couple of posters, it seems they are faultless. The majority of "supporters" will be faultless, but I do accept one or two often get caught up in the moment. Most of the time though, these are just mindless idiots who use it an excuse to get drunk and then can broadcast on facebook that they have been to a live sports event
I will add that I went to Leeds and Bradford game last night. 20,000 people there and not one jot of trouble. I don't believe these are real rugby league supporters, these will be mindless idiots who go with the intent on getting drunk before the game has started. Every superleague club has them, but it is down to the club of where the game is held to prevent this happening. In hindsight, some of the things that the Wakefield club did and said before the game may not have helped matters, but the crux of the problem is the idiots that do not know how to behave, simple as.
Next time, I think the game should be played at 12 noon on good Friday. It's blatantly obvious that alot of trouble will not take place when certain types of people will not have had chance to get fueled up on alcohol.
One question, are the stewards provided by Key security?
Hopefully this is a one off. I'm sure the idiots who got thrown out will not know this site exists. Everyone should be in unity, one big rugby league family.

Again, from the outside looking in, that seems to be a pretty good assessment of the situation to me. However, Wakefield, as hosts, have the responsibility for the welfare of the fans, and have to accept a larger part of the blame.

Unlike football its not an offence!
However the bottles and cans can only be done adhoc for a crowd of almost 10k and the number of stewards, i do a gree though the club needs to get some standards in writing up
1. The right to refuse entry when drunk
2.ejection for being drunk
3 Searching at the tunstiles
4. Smoking areas for fans
5 Offensive behaviour i.e the use of foul and abusive language
All in no particular order but signs on the turnstiles so all know the score so the stewards can be held to account, its not football some of the legislation doesnt apply but the club can have its rules for granting entry for payment.

"I can tell you the atmosphere was extraordinary at Wheldon Road on big days. | It was always going to end like it did. There is only AG and the WFTWC management to blame." Lets go north"/"the city is ours"/"we will fight for the city" rubbish etc plus the segregation annoucement c--k up.
That encouraged intimidation.
The guy and his CEO should spend more time running a superleague club than they do spouting juvenile rubbish on twitter.
End of rant.
Listening over a dodgy internet connection last night was awful, but worth it in the end.
THE CITY IS NOW OURS - BUT YOU CAN KEEP IT,THANKS VERY MUCH.

| The mistake our CEO backing down on our initial plan for cas to go in east terrace but after dickie wright went crying to the media we backed down and let cas in the north stand. No cas in north stand = no trouble that's how it should have been and after last nights carry on that's what it will be in the future.

If they don't exist (and it's hard to believe they don't), then club should have "house rules" - terms and conditions for entry, regardless of whether or not you've purchased a ticket.
It would require more stewards, but you can check every fan who enters through the turnstyles to see whether they're carrying anything the contravenes the house rules, and confiscate items that do. You can bar people from entering if they're off their faces, and ensure that those who want to enjoy the game and support their team in the way that most of us on here want to do are able to do so without intimidation or violence. It doesn't take much to do it.

Fully you're an Internet forum hero you seem to know loads about nothing anyone would think you were tax dodging student who doesn't even live in the WMDC . You said you were going to ignore WTRLFCs advice and stand behind the posts hope it went well. Ps did you ever email WMDC in disgust about the 2 million land to community trust for our city's community stadium?
