| Is this new stand going all the way to the side line bar portacabins or is it only going as far as the 4 holes that have already been dug? Maybe they are waiting till after today's game to do the other foundation near the bar.

| Good news that the improvements have begun which should ensure SL until the next round of licences. Unlike Mr Glover I can't see us gaining a licence next time round unless Newmarket is approved.

We should be a lot clearer on that (via the latest LDF feedback) within the next month.

Been down to Belle Vue this morning and there was a low loader with steel columns etc. waiting to be unloaded which will be for the roof to the West Terrace. Also James Elston has tweeted that stands arrive today and posted a picture so the west terrace will be covered for the Huddersfield game.

Some fairly "meaty" stell there.

| I was looking at the foundations for the new roof last Saturday and they only appear to partially cover the end section of the Western Terrace, roughly to the Beer trailer. I was under the impression that it was to extend to just before the structure the touchline bar sites on. I wonder if this is no longer the case or are the foundations for that section to be done this week?
Ground related, but as an aside, I found rlthisrl when looking for the video highlights of Saturdays match; I found it quite interesting, but then I am dull like that.

| Looking at the picture on twitter, there are 4 longer supports and 4 short ones which would indicate these are for just the bottom end of the western terrace, (where there are 4 mounting points behind the fence.

That does not look like a temp structure does it!!! I was expecting something made from aluminium bit like a scaffolding but that is full on RSJ's.

Not sure (i stand around the other side of the ground so did not have a look on Saturday) but on the photo with AG and DL I can only see three holes (I hope!) but i too was under the impression it went all the way to the touchline bar too.

I think temporary refers to our anticipated move to a new ground, not the quality of the stands ?

Mr G did say at the recent forum that the delay caused by a change in planning requirements, combined with the new investment, had enabled them to source a structure that would a) afford a better view and b) look far from temporary.

That's quite cool, they use that kit for crash scene investigation on motorways now to get things moving ASAP. It's all a bit plan B'ish this should the PI go against the might Trinity.

Where they've dug to now is as far up that western touch line as that stand is going to go. Not sure why, as like you've said the original "sketches" showed it running up to the touch line bar. It's pretty disappointing to be honest, and looking at it from the angle of where the majority of away supporters will stand it's going to look pretty pathetic.
