A number of points trouble me (as an impartial observer)

1) How much research did Glover carry out before making his bid ?
Surely enough to justify his investment given that he is not a lifeling rugby league fan but a succcesful businessman.

2) How much information did the administrators withhold from Mr Glover ?
NONE. Legally they are obliged to present a warts n all picture of the company they are administrating?

3) Assuming points 1&2 are correct what prompted Mr Glovers "No players for sale" comments on Friday ?

How much of Wakefields current financial plight is down to the RFL ?

No one is arguing its the past managements fault we have ended up in the position we are. The problem is that we do not seem to be treated the same as Crusaders were. I repeat other than Hauraki who else did they have to sell whilst in admin? Answer no-one.

You can't tell me had the administrators made the likes of sammut, witt and withers available clubs would not have been interested. Oh and it was the same administrators and HMRC got shafted - the same HMRC who are now our biggest creditor and are no doubt the ones that players are being sold to appease.

TOTALLY agree Tricky - its the way Crusaders and Trinity have been so differently treated -. The RFL should hang their heads in shame!! There is no doubt that Steve Parkin eas intimated this info before he pulled out. Its just like the club is being raped before our very eyes and we cannot do a thing about it. I have watched Wakefield since 1960 and I am heartbroken at what is going on. We, the supporters, can just go to hell as far as the RFL are concerned. I do not know if you can compare the situation with hauraki as it was rumoured the Giants offered £50 K and he went to Leeds for a lot more than that.

I would doubt that any of the Wakefield players being signed are going for anywhere near that.

Despite that i would agree with the point that the RFL were more concerned with helping out Crusaders than they have been with helping wakey.
