If no bid can be accepted or rejected why would one have disappeared from existence when it was public knowledge that there were 2 bids on the table last weekend.

It's all rumours at the moment but got told today it's Steve Parkin heading the takeover which will be brilliant for Trinity and also the RFL will look at us very favourably with him at the helm. Also he is wanting a pro football team to be based in the biggest City without pro football so Newmarket can be utilised all year round. I His take over at Trinity will be confirmed on Friday. I hope this true not just for Trinity but for Wakefield.

So, say Leeds are in next year's WCC on Magic weekend, how will they get their extra game of SL bearing in mind that Magic is an additional round which would give 29 fixtures in your 15 team league? If Magic became one of the normal 28 rounds then home and away fixtures would be unequal.

Steve Parkin taking over the club has been a strong rumour for the last few weeks. But it remains just that until we hear anything official IMHO. I'd like to think he just didn't want to shout it out yet. We'll find out as soon as the administrator as been appointed, I hope.
