Quote: chapster "not sure in the first half we even had a towel!

first time ive ever taken a concious decision not to go to wigan, and glad i didnt bother.'"

a little unfair they were out on their feet at half time and i really expect wigan to run up 60/70 but fair play they gave us some hope to take away .

We are either not good enough or bright enough or fast enough to play a sliding defense. Yet again we were ripped apart out wide. The coaching staff have to see that we do not have the ability and we should only play man on man. Wigan were fantastic in the first half, fast, strong, agressive and brilliant to watch. Joel Tompkins is a great player, his try involved slight of hand, breaking the first tackle and out sprinting Morton over 60 yards.

Morton is young and had a very bad day and needs a long break from the first team to get his confidence back, Blanch should never see the first team again, he was an absolute liability, again today. Wingers for next week should be George and Gleeson. Yet again when we play the top sides their wingers score tries for fun both Wigan wingers scored hat tricks today.

Note to Trinity coaches : its the system .... change it

Hendo and Morrison gave their all. Cooke made two tries. When Wigan had the ball there is so much movement, dummy running and support running that it was a case of men against boys.

None of the Wakefield starting 17 would have got a place on the Wigan bench today.

sorry muts dont buy it any more and havnt done for a few weeks, i dont blame anyone ie coaching players or fans but frankly watching us is not an enjoyable experience at present, we have so little attacking flair in the halves or organisational ability that we dont make ground, this in turn gives our defence more pressure, a defence that frankly doesnt need much pressure at present to fold.

something to hang on to???? what beating celts quins and salford? but getting mauled by wire hudds and pies?

sorry im not usually defeatist but ................

We are slow, easy to predict and that must be changed, how i don't know but we are too slow at everything sadly.

Total rubbish today. Even more frustrating that we 'played' for about 10 minutes and showed what we can do. Total waste of time and money.

We were shocking in the first half. The whole team looked absolutely knackered from about ten minutes on. We played the ball at a snails pace, our passing was pedestrian and had no aggression in defence. Yes we kept getting caught wide out and there were individual poor performances.

We gave them a bit of a game in the second half and the Wakey crowd showed some humour to brighten things up. Let's beat the crusaders on Sunday and then as the song famously goes "two out of three ain't bad".

Won't dignify JK's remarks with a repost and I'm not here to troll.

Felt a bit sorry for the young lad Morton today. Our dummy runners and some poor reads from the Wakey defence left him exposed on a number of occasions. Have to say that Blanch was a complete liability and if he plays against Crusaders, Michael Witt is going to give him death from above!

just witnessed one of the finalists of the Super League this season take us apart in the first half, you can say what you like about reffing decisions they was just up for it right from the start,

I suggest we get the Marches back to get some back bone in the side icon_sad.gif

bring back the biff

Yep - reminiscent of the side before JK at the moment - can play when they want to but have the knack of just not showing when it get's tough!

Still didn't think it was as bad as Wire though! icon_wink.gif
