You would be surprised what people will use for propaganda, hence my comment about the pet graves.

I live near the proposed plans for the new wakefield ground and i think its an excellent idea and i would be most disappointed if it didnt go ahead. Im fed up of all this wildlife anyway

For the record - the guy who posted the video was a Paul Williams. This is no secret as his name came up on the video at the end.
Hello Paul!

The reason they have taken that video down is because of the feedback on here. I am now well beyond doubt that this forum is being monitored and that material posted is highly likely to feature in their material going forward.
Paranoid - maybe. Cautious - definitely!'" you have every right to feel paranoid as yes it will be monitored at least you have control of this website but there's is already starting to look foolish even with the replies, if any one replies with a case to answer it needs duplicating on here if answered as they miht not put the same reply on or even doctor it to suit

| Quote: TRB "Don't be sorry - I merely meant to point out the risks.
I don't know the guy - I was 'profiling' based on details available. I genuinely feel though that they are now making the issue that of the industrial elements merely beacuse they feel that is weakest link. If there were no industrial elements, there would be some other element they didn't like - that's how it goes!
Just as you are making issue of the industrial elements as you believe job creation is a positive spin, when really all your bothered about is the stadium, yet you know you cant have one without the other.
I have said before that the biggest hurdle you have to overcome is from opposition from other areas who will challenge your developers right to use greenbelt, when everybody else has to tow the line and find suitable sites for development. At the end of the day the developers see the "community" stadium as a way of sweetening the planning process. If the developers were confident of getting planning permission they would not give a flying fig about the Wildcats.
So TRB is correct in that Stanley man is not worth appeasing, as he will be small fish compared to the real opposition to this development. ( Leeds Met , Other businesses, landlords ).

I have a duty to the group I serve to support the stadium, but I also have a personal opinion and I am of the opinion that the development as a whole is a valid proposal for this site as there are more benefits overall than the one we are campaigning for. You are correct that I would take little active interest in it were it not for the stadium, but the reality is that there is a stadium riding on this - and as such it has got my attention.
For the record, I have not campaigned for or against any of the developemts around me - at Paragon or at J41..

Simple question Rugbyball.
Do you support the proposals?

Do you support the proposals?'"
Actually I would support any proposal that benefits any rugby league team, as I love the game. I guess you are cynical to my intentions due to the cautious nature of my posts which is fair enough. I trying to make the point that if people like TRB and swag want to influence the planning process then it is my belief that more subtle methods are required as at the moment everything comes across as being selfish, focusing on things such as job creation etc, when openly admitting you have never campaigned for this in any other circumstances just looks shallow.
My biggest problem with this development lies with the developer using the wildcats as the PR front for a speculative planning app on greenbelt land and the club just going along with it as they have no other viable option.
I can fully understand why fans want to see all the positives and believe the hype, as I said earlier I would love to see a state or the art Rugby facility in Wakefield, I just feel more caution should be applied in how we back it.
To sum up I guess what Im saying is the more people shout look over here, the more people will look!
