But I agree its up to those at the club to allow him to leave although i genuinely think of the 2 involved in the swap he will go on to have the superior career of the 2. |

What I do know is that when he played the big boys of Hunslet he was nowhere to be seen. For me it's these step up games where names are made and he didn't. It's one thing being good against kids it's whole other world with the mister. Sadly I can't see Cain there any time soon.

I read topics and try to add my opinion based on my own thoughts and games/things I've watched, if you want to base your opinion on the opinion of someone else then who am I to argue?
Just out of interest though in the opinion of the said people you respect, who was the standout player(s) from last season's Grand Final winning academy team if it wasn't Southernwood?

it wouldn't suprise me!
I'm sure the large number of juniors who get their chance at first team rugby at Wakefield isn't lost on some of the young players at neighbouring clubs. |

answered your own question really, ACADEMY.. will he make the step up? hopefully so but in jk i trust..if he doesn't want to be with us then fair enough..reminds me of a certain danny who? |

Perhaps, but out of the two who would go on to have the superior career for Trinity, a player who will knuckle down and work hard or a player who at 17 is already thinking about money. |

I'm not one of the people you are speaking of, but for mine, Annakin should have been MoM in last years Academy Grand Final. I'd like to see his future secured before too long, but will try and get to the Reserve game today to see if he's progressing! |

I agree, Cain Southernwood certainly has a lot of football talent , and in the age limit rugby of Academy level he did everything he was expected to on the field of play. That said, I think Anakin was the standout player throughout the season and in the grand final.
I'll be there today as well. |
