| Tommy Lee shouldn't be anywhere near the halfback position.
I'd be tempted to sign Tansey on a short term deal and play him at 6, a very creative player.
Gareth Moore?
As for props Chris Hill from Leigh would be worth a go, Ewan Dowes(Hull) or Chris Tuson (Wigan) might be worth a loan move.
How many quota spots do you have, it is really hard to bring in a halfback as Hull have found the last couple of years.

Kear is confused as it is without you offering him further options.

| Might get shot down for saying this, but, does anyone else feel that Morrison is now past his best. Just reminds me of JD last season. Could be that he's having to worry about the young lads and martial his troops more than usual. Not sure.

| Not at all, he's still our best player by a mile. If he gets injured we are screwed.

He made one booboo in an otherwise brilliant display. Class - and still got the fitness levels required at this level.
Awesome guy!

agreed but needs must we only have hookers or fullbacks to fill in at halfback we have one halfback at the club who is injured and hes not SL class when he does come back
We are crying out for a stand off and a scrum half but first we need some forwards

He looked dangerous for you guys every time he got his hands on the ball. He'd probably be more effective if you had a couple of extra players to take off the pressure for him.
After seeing you guys play yesterday, I'd say you've got fight in the side, but no direction.

Forgive me but that is stating the obvious. He was past his best when he signed for Bradford, otherwise he would still have been in the NRL.
Still he is one of, if not the, best player in the squad.

Exactly....and I'd add that he is better than many in Super League.

| We worked hard, and put the effort in - was very pleased on that score. Thing is though, we need to work smart as well as working hard.
What boils my is the amount of silly errors we make, fair enough they are better to a man and there is probably only Morrison that would get in their side - but we don't help ourself. I have no problem with a group of players being simply outclassed, if they aren't good enough then they aren't good enough.
Daft errors like dropping the ball over the line, penalties for backchat, going into touch early i nthe tackle count, not using the corners, not using the low sun in the 2nd half and the baffling substitutions that we continue to see week after week. These guys are paid proffesional players and shouldn't be making such errors.
Its really a shame, because if we had have done a few more little things correctly, then we could have really given them a shock becuase they wasn't that much infront of us I dont think given the amount of class they had in the squad.

| What's the big deal about Harvey all of a sudden. There seem to be a few posts saying that JK has done something wrong.
We needed cover. If when he comes he isn't (in JK opinion) as good as someone else in the squad, it shouldn't guarentee him a place.
You can't always tell until they are training with you.
Much as I'd like to have seen him play, Lee is playing really well and is probably the form player, so Harvey would either take Hyde's place or Davey's place. I don't think either have let anyone down, without quite being world beaters.
So unfortunate but hardly the travesty some people are implying. The other loans seem to be going ok so I don't think it really reflects so badly on us.

| As for the game
I thought Wakefield were good value today. We were limited on expertise but high on energy and effort. For now that's really all we can expect.
I've watched much better quality Wakefield teams than this one give up on a game that they were always unlikely to win.
They got a couple of opportune tries that on another day wouldn't have happened, like Vievers clearing the line and miskicking.
Morrison's mistake over the line was a try in all but the score, in that we threw it away rather than were stopped.
I think Lee is proving to be a great signing.
We are light in the forwards but we did a good enough job and will get better, especially with Gledhill and Amor adding to numbers
and I think Mariano is a "find". We need to give him the ball more.
Penny is good at what he does well but I think he'd be making way for the Huddersfield lad next week and I'm not sure Murphy needs a rest. Wasn't anywhere near his usual self yesterday.
One day (hopefully soon) these kids are going to be great. At the very least a bit more time playing together will help with attacking play. Very often the ball was spinning faster than anyone did last season but the defense could just wait for the runner as we didn't have a lot of running options. More practise will help with that.
I keep saying it but the effort they are putting in is good enough for me to keep watching.
It's going to be hard work over the next few fixtures but they still deserve the support in my opinion.

| Morrison was Wakefields biggest attacking threat yesterday. When he cut back inside to join the ruck you knew an offload or inside pass was coming. Once Bradford shut him out of the game most of the attacking threats stopped (as both the other tries came from kicks or an interception).
