so how were crusaders able to continue to sign players? or did the rfl not place a ban on them as they knew they were goingto get unconditional support from them and the risks lower?

Batley were banned from signing players a couple of month back because they owed money to the tax man.

Interesting comment for me is that we are "banned" from signing new players by the RFL.
