Re
The plans havent changed, just the make up of the land usage which now clearly makes Newmarket the prefered site to comply with the governments own requirements, made to Wakefield council planning dept, for their development plan.
We've kind of worked them into a corner, where if they are arguing, they are arguing against themselves, and they will have to come up with a more suitable site to turn it (Newmarke) down.

Re
Oakwell or whereever the super league standard stadium is will be confirmed and included in our application and they are just ironing out the final details as far as i am aware. It will be a tenancy agreement much the same as most of the teams in super league such as Wigan and Hull have with their ground owners so with the SL standard stadium we will be in a good posistion regarding our application.

I agree, our finances would put a black mark next to us but if we do stay solvent and are playing in an SL standard stadium then i feel that we have a better application than Salford, Cas and Crusaders.

I've never even thought of this, but that is very worrying. I think we all know our stadium was a sweetener for the units. Yorkcourt can just wait till 2012 and build all their units without needing to spend 20 million on our stadium! I wouldn't be suprised now if they withdraw the current planning application and sit and wait for the LDF to be approved.
I hope I am wrong, but I've got a very bad feeling about this now.

Surely not, after all entering administration seems to be OK with the RFL/Super League now. They have removed that proviso from the application process I believe (only way they could keep Crusaders!!)
And yes, before everyone replies I know there are different rules for clubs they do want and ones they don't

| You are all utterly stupid! How on earth can you as a club have a more appealing application, you are still been held up with your stadium. The funds are not there, the club are even asking you for £500,000 because not one person will invest in you as a club, stop been so naive, you are not better than castleford or Salford and on the same field as Quins and crusaders and you can't deny any of that at all, for the past you have been threating, and have good reason to!! Stop it with your utter stupidity

Time will tell you may be right.
The way I see it, we are putting pressure on the SoS to see that he is arguing against his own policy, he will have to come up with answers (basically a different site) in order to turn down NM.
Time wise we are still behind the black ball, but it adds weight to our bid, likewise the finance thing is no longer an issue, the franchise format has changed and no longer takes into account going into admin etc, although it adds weight to the RFLs arguament should they want you out.
Now as long as our bid is stronger than one other clubs "in theory" we should be ok.
While ever cas are waiting on GH they are pretty much in the same boat as us, and with this news yesterday we have shuffled forward a little bit further.
It still stinks but we are putting forward as best a case to the SoS and SL as we can, and I think NM is almost inevitable but if that either is in time for SL decision time or wether cas and us are still in the same situation? Like I said time will tell.

It is nice that you try to come back with arrogance and picking up on my punctuation and grammar, it doesn't stray away from fact that your still in the same boat as before, the club has only given you ifs and maybes and potential plans as it will quieten you up as fans for longer but there is that huge fact of £500,000 which is a problem and the fact that you still have had outline permission under scrutinisation! Nothing you or others can say can prove or alter the fact you are still in the same place
Thank you mr English teacher

I'm not sure how you come up with that idea
Even if we are still at wheldon road (and i beleive that would only be for the first few matches of the season) you would only have a better stadium, cas would have better finances, youth development, crowds, be further on with our ground and be (considerably) less reliant on imports. Whilst our league positions have averaged the same the last two years.
If it were only about the ground cas could easily say we will play our first few home matches in donny till our ground is finsished and sort the problem out easily.
As for salford construction of there ground has already started, you have better crowds than them but they have better finances.
As for quins and crusaders they are protected and everyone knows it.
Personally i dont want trin out of sl as i would miss our rivalry (and rfl would see hudds as our 'local rivals' even though they never have been) but i dont know if thats possible with the recent news. From the outside looking in, it looks like admin then 3 years rebuilding in the championship may be the best thing to gaurentee trins survival, but i dont claim to know all the facts so that may not be the case.

Now you have had a strop, do you not consider it arrogance to call us all stupid?
Especially when it isn't us all stating we have a better application than the afore mentioned clubs?
Its also rather ironic of a Crusaders supporter (a club I personally don't have a problem with) to come on here and (attempt) to preach to us about our finances.
Your posts are clumsy, non factual and rather ignorant.

3 simple points I believe clear this remark up;
1. Outline planning permission granted.
2. Full planning application submitted.
3. Not having to publicly beg our fans for £500K within 3 weeks or we may go bust.
Hope the above helps clear this matter up

So, Crusaders are having a new ground built?
Have you changed your allegience from Cas to the Crusaders?
2 points I believe you need to read and digest before attempting to clear the previous remark up.
HTH.
