Good pack but plenty for us to target there. I know Warrington fans like them, but our wingers should give Jake Thewlis and Aaron Lindop nightmares. However, obviously this is Dufty weather - and if we let him run after offloads we'll be in trouble.
I do think a lot will depend on whether Wire can lift themselves again emotionally after last weekend. And all that makes it a complete 50/50 - much like every time we play Warrington, Hull, Leigh, Leeds or Catalans at the moment. That's what's so good about SL this year.
I think it’s pretty obvious we need to be all over Dufty and Sneyd in the backs. Kick pressure and limiting broken play and offloads will help. In the forwards Vaughan needs to be handled along with maybe Harrison when he comes on. Again limiting offloads. As mentioned I would be targeting the edges and also I think this could be a game someone like Harvey Smith could excel in to cause trouble from the ruck. Our kicking needs to be smart but with TJ and Walmsley we have plenty of strike and need to get them involved. With both teams having a similar amount of injuries it could be a close game. Trueman playing would be a huge boost. The time to rest him if needed would be Salford the week after if we need to manage him.

| We don't need to rest him. We have a week off over Wembley weekend. He's either able to play or he isn't.
We are pretty evenly matched with Warrington but actually their injuries might work against us as I think they always underestimate us and think they are better. With young players and players playing for a Wembley place we have to be strong and not give then chances like we have been doing.
I'm not too worried about the pack. It's Sneyd for field position and Dufty for attack. Our kicking game to keep Dufty out of broken play will be important

| excited about being at Belle Vue for the next two games... Even though the Salford game is just a day before we go home to Aus. Loved both Catalans and Magic experience... But Belle Vue is the spiritual home.
If you see me... And are so inclined... Then feel free to say hello...
Win or lose.. I feel blessed to be here!!!

If we are managing Trueman through a 4 year marquee contract, then we have the wrong player. Either he can play, or he can't. If he can't, then the recruitment manager will sort that out we must trust.

Why are you on about the next 4 years or long term off the back of my comment about resting him if his current injury is causing him issues. My comment was purely short term in that if pain management would assist or be required to get him through Warrington then he would be invaluable to have for that game. If he feels sore after we have Salford and a break to use. This is different to having to prrmenantly manage a chronic problem. If there is the possibility of that then I’m sure the club will look at the appropriate action.

| Same squad as last week. It'll be a brave man who plays Russell over Lachy this time.

Agreed, hopefully Lachy retains his place...... If Seth is fully fit, I'd put him in, put Griff on the bench and - unfortunately - drop Cam Scott out of the 17......
