This won’t be popular but If we manage to stay in superleague I’m somewhat underwhelmed by these two extensions.

If we are in championship in 2024 then they will be good for the 2024 season to help get us promoted.

Pitts has been good this season and 1 year is about right. Hopefully he maintains his form and fitness.

Kaye I’m a bit more underwhelmed. He’s a utility player these days without a real position.

He’s not a 9 and hasn’t really played wing for a good while. He seems to just be a steady utility option. Probably good to have in championship but not sure for SL level.

I like both players though and their commitment is second to none.

I do hope we are looking to tie up some of our younger end like Eseh, Bowes, Pratt as these I would be not happy to lose.

To me it's a squad game. Resigning these two doesn't mean they are expected to be the best players. We need players like this in either league but I'd prefer it if we also brought in better players.

There are certain players in the championship I would be targeting if we are in both leagues.

Lachlan Walmsley would be top of that list. We need a pacey winger with an eye for the line.

Otherwise - if we do build for the championship then there’s some potential gems hiding around.

Pitty you didn't ask the same from the current owners for the last few years.

We've all been hoping for better players for the past few years but the reality was that the funds simply weren't available to purchase them !!

How do you know funds not available. Same old same old.
