I have continued to be disappointed by Lyne and again he shot in leaving Kershaw looking like a mug last week. I really do expect better from one of the most experienced players at the club.

Gaskell had a really effective run at right centre last season and he’s a bit more mobile than Lyne and can find a pass.

Jay Pitts 50 tackles andc15 carries!

Funnily enough Lyne was our biggest metres gainer and only Smith made more tackles in the backs.

Along with Whitbread, Pitts has been an absolute workhorse this year. Those two are 4th & 5th in the whole league for tackles made with Ashurst in 9th. Can't knock those three's defensive efforts thats for sure.

Jay has been our best player for me with Jai not far behind him.
As for 'Tash yep - apart from that "non-tackle" at Cas.....

As a travelling fan, I'll be glad to see Gaskill in a centre berth in place of the currently toothless Lyne.

The stat that sticks out to me is Proctor. Our highest paid player is robbing the club. No wonder we are skint spending money on burnt out, uninterested rubbish.

Thought he was very unlucky with the knock on as it was an unnecessary forced pass from what I recollect.

In 15 mins his stats wouldn’t be great would they? Maybe he just wasn’t fit which is why he never appeared again in a Trinity shirt but he seemed to do better with his carries than his stats suggest in my opinion.

Either way he had 15 mins how many mins has Atoni had to prove himself?

We’ll agree to disagree on Mason. We certainly do agree on Atoni though.
