| Slept on yesterday's result. Don't feel any different about our performance. Gutting to sit and watch that performance.

Don't you see the same happening now with Murphy? Never gets a quick pass from Hall. Probably fastest guy on the pitch yesterday but relying on scraps from Miller and Jowett.

Wow. First time I've seen Hall getting cricised.
I guess you are entitled to your opinion but I don't agree.

It all depends on what clubs put out going to Toulouse. Tony Smith may well of being more costly to us than him loosing his job.

Sorry Snowie but hearing the club saying we have no money no longer washes with me. Carter seemed to have quite a bit of money when it came to paying off Chester on the strength of a verbal agreement for f sake.
When it comes to wasting money on crap players etc , this club is up there with the best.

Just watched Hull derby, cant see it myself. Litten,Parcel and Lewis will provide us with plenty of problems.

| I've just watched our highlights again.
Miller isn't at fault. 40:20 and 2 assists.
If he hadn't pulled the ball out they'd have scored anyway as he was covering Hall's missed tackle.
For me, when we were on the back foot they targeted Tanginoa. He was at fault for all three of their first tries to bring them back into it.
He wouldn't be in second row against Rovers for me. Certainly not on right.

Fair enough but we just aren't getting early/any ball to Murphy. He's a weapon we just keep hung on the wall.

Can’t quite believe it but Hall saved the up his worst performance for yesterday. You can forgive him a bad game because tbh it’s his first bad one he’s had.
Murphy and Hall will be much better players after the game time they’re getting this year without a doubt.

To me those two are our most valuable assets. They are still kids and lack experience ,lets not forget that. They have put many older ,more senior and experienced players to shame in many games this season.

| When T.O. kicked off to us in those final 20 seconds the only play that would give us an even remote chance of scoring was an instant long kick and chase straight down the middle with both Evans and Murphy given the heads up. We just capitulated and handed over our usual 80th minute gift.

No he wasn’t,
For the first one TO have a 5 v 3 on the short side because WT haven’t numbered up correctly, Tanginoa has to front up the lead runner, from the position he’s in that’s his job.
Second one, we are overloaded with extra defenders to the left and then Jowitt tells Batch to go left, he goes left himself and then pulls Crowther to the left side of the PTB. The ball gets played, Pitts gets caught ball watching and ties into the acting half leaving a huge hole to his right where he should have pushed into from the inside.
For the third, TO gain have a 6v4 on a wide space to our right, Tanginoa covers the lead runner (that’s his job) then a wide ball gives them a 3 v 2 which the execute perfectly allowing the winger a walk in.
Not sure where you learnt your video analysis skills but their wide of the mark when surmising these three try’s

I disagree. When I get chance later I'll explain my point on those tries.

I finally plucked up the courage to watch it late last night and can say that that second half looked like headless chickens,
never seen a game with less possession as that too, bar for the one brain fart by fafita he looked and stats say was one of the best trying
millers head is not working as captain and should stand down but it was unfortunate that the one on one strip didn't go his way,
fumble knocks are highlighted by TO scoring on them but the most worrying I think is the defensive gaps and team not sliding to compensate
need to get them defensive drills working

That’s how I saw it too Avenger!
I think Pitts needs a rest or a spell in the middle. I noticed against Wigan that he was all over the place positionally. He was making his one on one tackles and didn’t miss many but a few times he got caught on the outside or slid across too late leading to massive gaps and overlaps. I don’t think Kelepi is great defensively and often switches off but I think Pitts has been a big offender these past 2/3 weeks. Him and Lino were shocking defensively against Wigan and then added to that we had a Centre who hasn’t played at SL for a year or so plus a winger who made his debut.
I like Kyle Evans and given time I think he may go well. He got caught out a bit on Saturday but to be honest who wouldn’t at that level when you’ve only been playing league for 5/6 months. I felt like he committed too early at times especially for two of the tries. If he hung on and trusted the inside defenders I think Croft was sliding over to prevent Ashall-Bott meaning Evans could have just stuck to his winger.
I actually thought Miller was having one of his best games before half time came. I’m often critical of his kicking game as I feel his bombs are never deep enough to threaten the opposition as the wingers are challenging 10m out from the line. His tactical kicking is often to stick it down the FBs throat too. However, on Saturday his bombs were actually dropped just short of the try line and he looked to kick the ball into space. Unfortunately his kicking game is so hit and miss (often more misses than hits). His main asset in attack used to be his step, agility and pace but since his injury in 2019 he seems to have lost that.
We lack general leadership at the moment and that’s what scares me the most. We don’t have a Betham, JD, Morrison, Kirmond or Washbrook etc to rely on now to calm things down and inspire the troops. No Solomona/Ali like figure to create something out of nothing. It’s ok when Lyne, Hood, Fifita etc being vocal but are they saying the right things and inspiring anyone? To me that’s our biggest problem at the moment nobody seems to be able to take charge!
