Am pleased that we have cover and that it improves our chances on Friday. That said I think it is poor that loan signings are allowed. For me they compromise the integrity of the competition. I am not sure what the rules are on how many loan signings a club can make at any one time but I would scrap the system.

Why is it different to signing a player half way through the season? Benefits both clubs and the player.

I suppose if Salford believe they will be nearer the bottom than the top of the league it could be in their interest that we beat Toulouse.

I think the problem with Escare and it is something that has followed him most of, if not all of his career is his off field discipline.
He was a sensation when he first broke through at Catalans however he wasn't in with a great crowd off the pitch and his form suffered. Ultimately he had to leave France to get away from those influences when he moved to Wigan. Again he started well for Wigan but when he lost his place he started to revert back to a bit of carrying on off the field, refusing to train, refusing to play for the reserves which then saw him come to Wakefield.

He did well at Wakefield and showed he can cover the wings too, however after that spell he again finds himself as a back up player.

I think he is a cracking short term pick up whilst other players in the team recover but once we (hopefully) get our outside backs back on the field
I don't think he is needed and generally the longer he hangs around the more the issues seem to appear.

If he comes and does a job for a couple of weeks or even a month or 2 whilst we get lads back that will do for me and he can return to Salford.

Why didn’t we sign him for a month. Because after the two weeks it’s Salford at BV and you know if he plays for them he’ll have a stormer.
