In answer to the first question, I think there is a lower limit for the covid passport and we are around the limit. I think it's 7,500 but not sure. Its less than 10k.

For those vaxed up, the passport is pretty simple.
You just download the NHS app and log in with your NHS number. Your passport is just a bar code.

Vaxing is pretty logical to me and I don't understand those that don't unless a doctor has told them they shouldn't.

Don't begrudge anyone who doesn't want a vaccine, hell I wouldn't have bothered myself but I saw it as a way to get the country back to some normality and I'll be having my booster to to ensure the buggers don't enforce another lockdown on the country.

To me smoking puts pressure on the NHS, drinking puts pressure on the NHS, eating fatty foods puts pressure on the NHS, yet people do that freely.

Why stop there maybe we should do it every winter for the flu. What about over sized people that put a massive strain on the NHS, smokers /drinkers? Once you concede the principle of free at the point of access the big Government controllers will want if for other things as a means of punishment for their poor lifestyle choices. At the end of the day such restrictions protect the NHS. I don't support at anytime the NHS will ever come under any scrutiny A big money eating bureaucratic goliath that can't do wrong,.

Covid has shown just how many people in free countries are actually undercover authoritarians. It has given them an excuse to openly advocate for segregation like policies. Not only that but they get mad if you fight for them to keep their freedoms.

I don't really know how they test it either, but just like everyone else, I don't know how they decide paracetamol, ibuprofen, flu vaccine, MMR or anything else are tested either.

I don't get the anti vax logic that this one is different.

The govt has a duty to care for it's citizens, often when they don't think they need caring for - seat belts, helmets on motorbikes, clean air zones, emissions-based taxation systems - the list is endless.

None of the things you cite as personal choice affect me in the way covid will - if you are fat or drunk = I won't catch it from you.

You say the govt is responsible for the health care of the nation = big govt; but not responsible for health of the individual = small govt. It can't be both these things.

As an example, we blame the govt for under-resourcing care homes (which are all privately owned!), but want our own individual freedoms to be consequence-free.

Indeed not, but along with smoking, they put unnecessary pressure on the NHS. Even sport puts pressure on the NHS with unessessary injuries sustained in weekend matches.

Following the stance on covid, it stands to reason the government should ban all three vices, otherwise the point to protect the NHS is flawed.

Roll all those things together and multiply them by 10 = they don't come close to impacting the NHS in anything like the same way as covid!

BTW - I am as confused as many others, when all the data seems to suggest numbers are dropping (and I just checked the BBC site to be sure), yet restrictions are being ramped up!

And another thing - those saying this Tory govt blah blah blah...Labour want STRONGER restrictions!

Another dilemma really.
Do the club limit attendance to 4k (- season tickets) or leave it open and risk getting <4k because of the need for covid passes?
I think a negative lateral flow test will suffice.
How easy is it to check everyone's covid pass on entry?
