| Quote TrinTrin="TrinTrin"Well, announced by MC, picked up by Google media, wakey, shortfall of £ 480 k, that's 4, or 5 good players we cannot pay for !
So I am in full support of WP, I also feel sorry for him already, he is in a week position, agreed he is aware but that does not change facts of new players & quality players. I will still buy season tickets next season but reality is less players & quality, we are up against it, I will not blame Willie if all goes wrong especially with inevitable injuries !
You can only motivate so far & in so few games, however, up the Trin.'"
I’ve read the comment and I may be wrong but I suspect some of that shortfall is also loan repayments that are now kicking in.
I’m guessing the delay in the East stand which should have been producing it’s first revenue by now isn’t.
I also know we are paying for the 4G pitch ourselves so ditto.
I’m saying this because I can’t find any other quote for 480k, they all seem to be around the 200k mark!
I’m just speculating.

| Quote TrinTrin="TrinTrin"When CC, Made that statement you have quoted, MC quoted £280k, now it's £ 480k, it's well known we pre pandemic spent £1.2m
So it's not far of 50℅, - however, if you have heard of a regressive tax sum, that cut of 280k hurts us more than clubs of much higher revenue, so any loss affects us greater !'"
I am glad you didn't teach me maths with your calculations you certainly know how to round up to suit your purpose!

Is that a Royal 'we' from you then as you do is put the knife in if you're not happy there are other clubs to support. You championed Chessie getting replaced now you champion the way it was done. As has been covered before do some reading on contract law and look at other dismissals there is little if any difference just how it's worded.

MC should be admired for the way that he conducts himself and the clubs business.
I've no issue with the "agreement" to pay off Chester, something that only the club and Chester will konw the detail of.
There may be something written into that agreement covering if Chester was to find new employment ?
Plenty of other clubs have got rid of their coaches and they will all be tied by any contract that may be in place.
How many football managers come and go and they wont just walk for free.

If you are meaning player spend, £1.2million is correct, or would have been in 2011!!!!!!!

| Quote vastman="vastman"You are just full of it. One you’ve been told that it’s coming out of MC’s pocket and two CC now has a job and even to your lame brain that means he will no longer be getting paid by anyone other than Leigh.
So he got paid after his statutory notice approx two month wages, WOW! That is about the cost of two games from a top player, how will we manage.
[uNow give it a chuffin rest or do us all a favour and go support someone else, maybe Cas (if you don’t already) as they could do with a ray of sunshine like you[/u.'"
If he won the lottery he'd moan because it wasn't a roll over.

| Its the central funding that is being reduced by £480k not our player budget, that means the amount of cash the club (and other SL Clubs) has been reduced from £1.72m to £1.24m, so we still have more central funding coming in than the £1.2m stated. Obviously this will have an impact on the player budget, but not to the degree of 50% (even if all the £480k came off the £1.2m that's only 40%) the biggest impact will be outside of the first team budgets and that will have an obvious impact on the club as a whole. But as stated, all SL clubs face this reduction in central funding, what is more obscene is that the bigger clubs already in £1m's of debt, will still keep spending more than wakey, and those of the same ilk, which in the long run is extremely bad for the game.

It's been mentioned loads of times and even if it hadn't why wouldn't you assume that might be the case rather than making a huge issue out of very little.

Said before ,Mr Carter as said all clubs will struggle with the loss ,and we are in a better place than a lot .Some clubs are millions in det Do you think getting rid of some clubs from S L is for the good of the game .No it that the big clubs want more cash to help with there det

Why would anyone believe that a sacked club employee would have his salary paid for by the chief executive. I don’t know what type of business you work for but tell me how many times you have come across this scenario.
