Krishan Inu was banned by the club for 2 months and fined. The RFL decided not to bring it's own sanctions as they were happy with Salfords punishment yet, if he plays, he will have served less than a month?

Exactly my thoughts. Seems an underhanded way to reduce the potential punishment from the sporting body. That’s if he plays.
As stated though it’s a short turnaround for Salford and they are missing a number of players. We must go in confident yet determined. |

He’s not actually played since he made the comments on the 7th May i think, the punishment was announced a month afterwards. He’s probably a week short, if he plays. |

Reports of a Covid positive for Salford meaning the cant field a team and that game is in talks to be postponed.
Strangely a number of fans predicted this would happen.
Looks like our swings and roundabouts advantage of 4 suspensions gets given to another team.
This season is cack and far from a level playing field.
Becoming a farce.

Yep, just had an email form Salford confirming game off, with automatic refund "in 3 - 10 days".
Although I have sympathy with the covid cases, with their injuries and suspensions they will be delighted to be able to call this off.
Maybe we should follow the example of RU and award a 24 - 0 result, whether the absentees are covid related or not ? |

While I’m sure nobody wished to get a Covid this works perfect for them in terms of postponing a game against relegation rivals (the way they will see it) missing 4 players through suspension and a couple of injuries. We are also in good form so that will be stunted.
The thing that annoys me is we lose the advantsge if facing a depleted Salford team through suspension and injury.
Seems like Castlrford will benefit from those now .... lucky Cas. |
