Do the 4 full backs not count then? Seen as one of them can cover the entire back line and half back and another one can cover full back, centre and half back.

And this time last year 3 of them hasn’t played first team. What’s point of having an academy if we just dismiss the kids in the squad as not counting!!!

I didn’t question your ‘quality’ comment. I questioned the ‘quantity’ and 32 players with more to come is more quantity then the vast majority of squads will have.

We only need two props to get injured and we're in trouble. It won't matter how many full backs we have.

Especially the "vacant" bit DS.....

I'd happily play 26 of that team in the starting 13.
We could probably add a prop or two but I'm not worried about any other position.

Hopefully one will be Battye. Didn't somebody mention on here aw had been in talks with Mullally. Gone backwards a bit lately,but did well for us in his loan spell with us. Maybe a last chance of a super league contract.

I’d happily take Mullally he’s got what I love to see in a forward, he’s “radged in the head” adds some aggression and when he played for us on loan he gave 100% every game

I think we need one prop for sure two if possible.

However we should have all worked out by now that numbers are worthless without quality. I’d rather get by with what we have than sign a player who brings nothing.

Battye brings something we know that for certain, Mullaly did 5 years ago far from convinced he does now. Since he played for us he’s stagnated and he really should have gone on to far greater, the fact that he didn’t is a concern.

We've done well by keeping some change back before too so that if loans become available in the season we can add people in.
Sounds great to have a 32 man squad of internationals but in reality you don't need that in the first few weeks/months.
