I stand to be corrected on this one but when I saw the replay of the Tomkins incident, I wasn't convinced that he did anything wrong (for a change !!). I think both he and Folau (?) were involved in the tackle and I thought it was Folau that tackled Myler between his legs (not sure about it being a squirrel grip ??) but Folau then got up straight away leaving just Tomkins there for Myler to have a dig at.
I've just tried searching for the footage to confirm it one way or another, but there are only the match highlights available on Sky catch-up, so can't be 100% sure. Time will tell, I guess.

Completely agree, I have never got why people rate him so highly, all he is have is a bit of aggression in his defence but as you say he is a total grub. Roby is three times the player he is, yet for some reason people put him on par with him.

What is even worse, whilst Dwyer was down receiving treatment, MM was stood there laughing.

Definitely a grub but, very effective for both Catalan and Wigan (when he was there)..
Catalan can cover Joel Tomkins but, they will struggle to find anyone to cover for MM.

For me, Dwyer was starting to have an impact in the game and MM decided to "slow him down" and it worked a treat.
It would have been very close had Leeds been able to rotate their pack and had MM been binned or sent off, Leeds may well have won the game.
It was a bad miss by the ref but, worse from the VR who should have had some input.
Not much to say about Tomkins

TBH on the Tomkins situation, I thought the it was really unfair for the referee to put Myler in that position on the sky cameras in what he did after the incident, it was embarrassing asking him if he wanted to make an accusation, the sky cameras were there, it was 100% clear as day what had happened the Video ref should have sent down the message to red card him.

Roby is head and shoulders above MM, not even in question. Enjoy MM's aggressive game, there are times we could have done with a bit of it last few years. Understand he's not everyone's cup of tea but you're always going to get that in RL.

Trouble is if he played for us he would be sent off every week. Like when Newton joined us after Wigan and the bulls... All of a sudden gets caught on a drugs test... What a coincidence

Newton only managed one game for us. On holiday in Turkey once, before he moved to Wakefield, we were in the next room to Terry Newton's aunt and uncle . Not speaking ill of the dead as it was before he died, but they didn't have a good word to say for him.
AS for MM, well he was a typical Shaun Wane product. A bit unfair to grubs there BLM
