The quality of last seasons polo shirt put me off platinum membership this time.
I wore it ONCE and the shirt was already bobbling!
I'd have willingly paid an extra 20 quid for a good quality polo shirt, not one that I haven't worn a second time!

Really surprised that anyone actually takes Platinum for the Polo shirt? When ordering just treat the polo shirt as an almost worthless gift, a bit like a badge, as reward for buying your early bird season ticket and a replica shirt up front.

Yeah of course, the team shirt is the main 'extra' and I'm not having a go at the club, clearly they pack in what they can for 250 pounds - I'm just saying, personally I would have paid a bit more to have a better quality one because I like to wear polo shirts.
Anyway, all very trivial, the membership is the main purchase!

Platinum membership didn't include a small pin badge this time around. I enquired why in the shop and was told that they realised that instead of the usual badge, keyring etc, the £5000 or so saved would be sufficient to sign another young player. I'll gladly forego my usual badge if that's the case.

Not heard anything about members getting discounts in local stores etc.
