It would be quite something if we played the season with 2 quota available but this club always tend to come up with a bonus ball signing and with clubs in Oz facing challenges with the cap and most UK teams not having spots, it might be a good market for us either now or down the line.

Likewise, Hampshire didn't miss a game through injury last year as far as I recall but he is unfortunately just as likely as anyone to cop a bad one this year. I just don't get what you mean. Injuries happen at all clubs, players can have a glut of them then go for years untroubled. It's usually very little to do with the previous years unless its a chronic injury, do you really think we sign players with chronic injuries? Enough said, to use your expression.

As the original post alluded to a case of emergency hooker, it would seem a shame not to use Broughie in that position if needed, and keep Rocky as the regular No 7.

Missed multiple seasons with knee injuries and ops. Most clubs would have ditched him.
Sts now have one of the best players in the league and has been pretty injury free for a while now.
