Thought Horo was due to retire at the end of this year. Think he's done reasonably well for us and is adaptable but maybe the club think we can get a bitmore from a quota spot. We can't just retain the same squad moving forward or we'll just standstill or more likely go backwards.

Would happily see Hadley return, don't think he's had a fair crack at Hull looking in from the outside but can't have been terrible last season as he made the Knights tour to PNG.

Shame for him as he seems to have stepped up and shown his worth since the injury 'crisis', but until then was nothing out the ordinary. Unless that was more to do with playing for a contract

When fit, Hadley has played, had a few injuries though, but can't remember many if any games he has been not picked in the 17.

I'd keep him at Hull for the right price whilst at Hull I've never seen him after other than solid so if can get a better deal then good luck to him.

I can't believe he wouldn't choose Wakey over Rovers when you look at the two clubs, unless he doesn't want to travel.

Was just going on some posts I'd read and the sending out on loan due to salary cap issues. He was a really good fit for us in 2017 and pretty certain he would be again. HKR can possibly offer him a bit more than we can money wise to be honest.

Nick Scruton also chose the money (don't blame him fwiw), and look how that turned out.

Wouldn't blame any RL player for choosing the money to be honest.

I think letting Horo go for Hadley is a tougher question than just letting Horo go.
Hard to say how much extra we'd be getting tbh.
On the other hand, he was good for us 2 seasons ago, and although he hasn't ripped up any trees at Hull he has been playing in a less than optimal squad.
Still, Wakey staff know what they're doing, they'll know exactly what he is and what he will bring.

I'm trying to think who else could come back, what with Broughy and MCB returning this season...

Been excellent this season and covered a few positions and I'd be happy to see him playing for Trin next season but, Chester & Co have put together a fine squad and it's fair to say that they know how they want Trinity to play and what kind of player they need.
It will all depend on who is available and what we can afford.

Keeping the core of the squad together and improving overall for next season will be a tough ask, unless we can make it to a final (or two) and / or get more punters through the turnstiles.
