I think it kind of does matter, the object of the game is to score as many points in either tries and goals

, if we had scored all our points by drop goals and still won the game by one point would you still be bleating on, if you haven't got a decent kicker I suggest you get one sorted as it nearly cost you two points last time

Salford lost that with either poor leadership on field or poor coaching on the sidelines, whoever’s come up with some of their plays when comfortable in the lead is mind boggling

Quality game of rugby by both sides tonight ,Salford very unlucky to not come away with the win tonight as thought saints last try on video was a knock on. Saints were second best for large parts of the game and seemed vulnerable when Salford got in their faces ,sure CC will have been watching with interest.

Farcical end to the game tonight. Even Holbrook looked embarrassed with his luck.

As a neutral the game was definitely exciting, but a few of Salford's calls once they went up weren't the best to say the least and they also didn't play like they were in front with a 2 score lead either. That short kick off was not playing the clock down at all and was just not what was needed at that time and the Griffin flop was also really costly, with tries coming off the back of those 2 errors. They were in control of that game but let Saints get a sniff and were on the back foot after that when they didn't have to be. If I was a Salford fan I'd feel robbed though after that VR ref call, for all love and money he looked to have spotted that the ball had come loose under the Saints player before he got over the line.

I believe Roby is your work horse that drives your team, without him you shut down for long periods as like you did v Salford, had he been in the squad I don't think you'd of been in that situation
