though, I kinda feel that if he can't get it together in the relative isolation of codheadland, bringing him home to the dingbats of Airedale wouldn't figure highly in my list of corrective actions, but, well, you can't win if you don't buy a ticket..

I think the same was said when we paid a big transfer fee for a prop who was a reputed ale cart but he went on to be a Cas legend. Some of you may remember him, his name was Lee Crooks.

May be more to it than we know. Watts dad apparently rang some sort of sports programme on radio Humberside tonight. Watts wanted to stay but thinks he's been singled out for criticism when Kelly is getting away with far worse. Watts struggled to get to training with the recent snow and M62 closures but others who live nearer the ground get away with far more. Not sure without researching it but his dad also said Liam had never been disciplined by the club.
As always we'll have to wait and see.

I don't see that as a big issue.
It's only like having a top player from Oz come over for let's say 12 games.
The only difference is you are not sure when the end date is.
The trick is to get the value while its there and get rid at the right time.

Some players suit some clubs so who knows.

However can't help but think Powell fancies himself as some kind of player whisperer like Kear but I don't think he is. He failed with Chase and Hardaker and a few others. Think he's trying to prove a point that he doesn't need to prove and it might be his undoing which would be a shame tbh. But as I say it may prove to be inspired.
