At our lowest point I believe we had 8 injured & unavailable & 1 unavailable through a ban (McNally). This from a squad of 28 IIRC & a couple have been playing through injuries including our 7 Drinkwater.

James Clare *wing we signed from Bulls* & Tonga are pretty much season injuries.

Starting to get a few back now, hopefully in time for Saturday, Hock has been out with a dead leg & our No1 FB with concussion, Mitch Brown.

On paper both Clubs look about even Stevens with WT having the upper hand on pace in the backline.

We have a baby sitter so going to make the most of Saturday ... win, lose or draw.

I am really hoping this isn't true, but having seen these before, my initial reaction was that it would be months rather than weeks. He seemed to be down before the tackle and the fact that he can walk, albeit aided, from the pitch, is all too reminiscent of other players we have seen. Heart is hopeful, head is sceptical!

Sorry to hear that. It's the kind of injury you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy. I think James Clare did that, pre-season, and he's hoping to be back for the 'Middle 8's'. With the current treatment and re-hab, I'm sure he will be back, as strong as ever, next season. I hope so - our sport can't afford to lose class acts like him.

Three head knocks today not going to help.

Would imagine Hadley is out for a period of time if it's a suspected broken jaw. Hopefully Miller and Lynne are just head knocks and it's a case of sitting out the cup game against Dewsbury and being good to go. Lucky that we're not talking about an injury to Fifita too after both a chicken wing and cannonball in one game.
