Rather than be sarky give us all an alternative explanation - I'll listen to almost anything at the moment.
Anyways, I do know he isn't a knowledgeable RL person, he's stated that himself on numerous occasions I don't know him personally so I can't tell you whether he is what I consider a decent bloke - the latter is important as it gives one more hope that in time he will get to grips with the former - what part don't you get? I'm here to help

| I voted for Morrison, he's served his apprenticeship at Dewsbury, done a decent job and seems to get the best out of his squad. He's a winner, a fighter, a battle till the end type of a guy. I thought when he played for us he gave his all every game and I believe would shake up our lot and sort out the mess over time if given the chance. Would he come? Would anyone? We're a Super League team and thanks to this new structure could still be one next season though the way things are going it doesn't look likely, but in the games we have left there is still time to get back on the horse. If we don't sort out this situation crowds are going to go even further down. I worry for Sunday on national TV and Leigh outnumbering us at home, what a mess!

You make a good point, since Kath Hetherington left we have nobody with a knowledge of the game in a senior position. Maybe as well as having a clear out of the coaching staff, we need to find the money for a new chief exec with a track record in RL.

Not being sarky.
Your first point may well be right, but to then say you've never even met him, totally undermines it.
If you'd said "I've met and talked the business of RL with him and he's clueless!", then fair do's.
As it stands, yours is just another unqualified opinion.
We are certainly missing Kath H, but how the current on-field debacles relate to that, I don't know.

It is "Fifita" not "Fafita"
If you don't know the difference between "there", "their" and "they're" I might get annoyed.

For Chief Exec or coach?
I know I wouldn't trust him with £1 never mind a playing or club budget.

| I would like JD back, he was someone who genuinely seemed to be passionate about the club, but as I don't think he would uproot his family again and give up the career he seems to be building in Australia, then I have voted Glenn Morrison. A little bit more unproven and inexperienced than JD but he seems to be doing a decent job with what he's got at Dewsbury, and again he is another player that always gave 100% and so I would hope he would expect his players to do the same.

How on earth would meeting him make any difference and thus how does it undermine my point. I say again it's he who has stated on numerous occasions he knows little about RL or Trinity's past - why would he?
Lets get one thing straight, the business of running a company WTRLFC I've no real issue, it's his money and frankly anyone with reasonable business experience could do that. Running a club in terms of a team and all it's composite parts that's not the same at all.
We know about Morrison and Georgallis because we've been turning up for 20 years - I accept we are just fans but it's still a huge knowledge base he simply does not have. This means he has to listen far more to Webster and Co than I'd like - this is the polar opposite to Ted who by the end may have sold the family jewels but was a canny constructor of teams - by that I don't mean he bought, picked and ran them but he knew when he was being taken for a ride. It's an art form, Ted used to tell many a tale of how he was mugged in his early days as a Chairman - this despite watching the game since he was 6 years old. It's not easy but Mr Carter is IMHO being badly advised, that's as diplomatic as I can manage.

| Personally I think Webster needs to go. The team has players that should be able to compete.
They've had a full pre season with Webster and Co but are clueless in defence. To the point of Webster going 'back to basics' yet still no improvement. They seem to have poor wrestle technique in the tackle allowing easy off loads in a 3 man tackle. They are also a lot slower than other teams offensively in the ruck area. Webster plus his assistants and the conditioner all need to go.
Morrison who was a leader on the field and has plied his coaching well at Dewsbury needs to come as coach even if he has a wise old head in the background before it's too late. I think the Leigh game and a heavy defeat will be Webster's last game.

| I personally think Willie deserves a head coaches post hes been assistant too long for me his experience as limited as it is would prove priceless I think, whilst Glen Morrison is doing well at Dewsbury I feel is experience may fall short. just my opinion

| The decision should be taken out of his hands, if he won't go voluntarily then he should be sacked. I am now beginning to wonder if his early success last season was more down to Agar whose team he took over.
