| No one at the club gives a rat's arris about the fans. They have made that totally clear for a while now. Don't expect an apology from JW as he quite obviously has no idea what to say or do. And you won't get anything out of MC or CB unless you hold them in some God like status. The club has changed for the worse in the last few years, the relationship with the fans is at an all time low.

| I went yesterday and if I am being honest I think some sort of mention of thanks to the traveling support would have been a good idea in terms of public relations but my guess is all concerned were just as shell shocked as us with the result so it maybe got missed, I think a good performance and result on Friday will be a start to putting things right though.

Carter had the chance again on the radio today but didn't bother. As you say it would at the very least be good PR, but that is an area the club is woeful in so its not unexpected.

If he had of made an apology today how many would have been spouting on here that its to late after the event now. I may be a nee poster on here but I have been reading the forum for years and the hard done to mentality of many posters on here never ceases to amaze.

Well given he wasn't at the game yesterday it was his first chance and he didn't take it. Par for the course though.
As for hard done to many of us have had enough of the constant let downs this club provides year after year. It just isn't worth the time, money and heartache anymore, there are better, more enjoyable, things to do in life than the perennial disappointment of being a Wakefield fan. Its been coming for years but stupidly i bought a season ticket and the tight yorkshireman in me means i'll stick the home games out this season but unless there is a monumental change in attitude on AND off the field before the autumn then it will be me done. I know theres others that feel the same. If that doesn't make me a true fan anymore then big deal, i couldn't care less what people think. But whilst the club can do know wrong brigade continue to bury their heads in the sand and accept constant failure then nothing will change other than a constant weakening until oblivion finally arrives. Watching Wakefield has always been hard work, but it used to still be enjoyable. Now sadly it just isn't fun anymore, its like visiting an ill relative in hospital every week. I'm afraid thats where i'm at, others may see it differently. Thats their choice. My one hope is that we don't drop in my last year but right now i fear that may well be the case.

| I have had a season ticket for over 20 years but this will be my last. I have witnessed much in my time but we have always tried. The recent performances and scores suggest this is no longer the case. We are bottom of the league with the worst attack and defence.
The current coach blames injuries well shock we try to compete on the cheap with the smallest squad what does he expect. The answer is to show the clubs ambition by signing players on one year deals and give up on the season before we even reach half way.
We are finally the embarrassment that many believe we have always been so well done MC and Webster you have succeeded where many others worked hard to disprove.

Before the season started Webster identified where he wanted us to be strong and addressed that area, it was in the backs where we may have struggled.
He can only spend what the fans pre give and has been said time and time again, if we get injuries we will struggle.
As for the contracts, you can't win on that one, because if they start handing out 2 and 3 year deals, people would be moaning even more.

| I would ask what do we do with the Sky money and the team we turned out Saturday was good enough not to lose 80-0. He blames the injuries for not being able to train, I ask what did we do the entire off season. The team should know what to do by now but what I see suggest they do not.

Nah my mind in made up. It was toss of a coin stuff this year whether i got a season ticket and the only reason i did was to catch up a few people who i otherwise would hardly see, nothing to do with anything else. At least two of that group other than myself have said they won't be getting one next season and we've hardly seen another due to a change in circumstance. Throw in this awful new league system, a lack of sunday fixtures, a club than couldn't give a toss about its fans and an ever increasing cost to attend then its a no from me. I might not be able to change my club but neither am i obliged to go and suffer either. I might go occasionly but the thought of having summer free for other things is a real appealling thought. Supporting Wakefield Trinity shouldn't be made to feel like a life sentence but it does these days. Thankfully i'm getting out on parole soon.

Can't fault you for any of this, I'm getting close to this myself.
The lack of Sunday fixtures is a big thing for me, and the atmosphere at the club is dire.
Friday night is last chance saloon for me, I really hope the players dig in and respond!

I have to disagree and say that it is a life sentence. The personnel running the club and those playing wearing the Red, White and Blue at any one time are only temporary, so you really have to look beyond. The club itself is a separate magical entity that will be with me till death.
