Gutted - saw nothing from him with us last year - apart from looking totally disinterested and having a great ability to wander around with his hands on his hips. Doesn't look much of an athlete to me. One of the laziest players i've seen - 3 years is mental.

1-2 year deal with options to extend would've been a more prudent offer. If Owen and his agent didn't accept those terms it should have been no deal.

I believe that Tim Smith and Chris Riley were offered longer deals but were only prepared to sign one year deals.

Cas away last season showed him up - they just kicked/attacked his corner as much as possible & he couldn't cope .

Then why didn't some of the Wakey type players' help him out?

Pull your necks in, I havnt got a problem with the signing just the length of it. Would have prefered maybe Tim Smith getting the 3 year deal.

KH does not seem like someone to be messed about with on contract negotiations.

For all we know it could be a lower cost deal over 3 years rather than a more expensive one for 1 year.
I personally don't like him as a person (and I only know him through 3rd hand stories and seeing him play) but I defer on rugby knowledge to Webster and contract negotiations to Kath.

Have to b honest don't know which cas game sum people were watching.But from wot I saw they kicked at him all first half he did very well .so they started kicking at sum one else.I would ac gave him 2 not 3 years.but iam not running the club
