Think that's slightly harsh, he`s a proven try scorer. Topping Hull KR`s stats, Although that is what is expected of a winger.

I think he also has bags of potential, has the speed, size and strength just has yet to fulfill that potential. So I wouldn't say he was useless.

However I don't think he is right for us, I think his time to grasp his chance has unfortunately passed and will have to graft a championship club if he wants to be playing in SL.

I am told that Owen signed a 2 and a half year deal when he first came here. Might be a load of rubbish, but that's what I've been told.

There are 3 possibilities' with Owen either he has or he hasn't or it's on the table waiting for him to sign, if it's the latter and he's waiting for a better offer or Cas to want him back then I don't think it's gonna happen, if he hasn't been offered one by now then imo it won't happen, but then if he has already signed for us then why the hell has it not been announced.

He will probably tell you he doesn't need to play X,Y or Z because he already knows they have not got what it takes or slightly better, they are not yet ready.

I know what you're thinking (I think) which is why keep them. I suppose it's because they help create a team in which others may thrive even if they themselves have probably found their level - with I hope some room built in for late developers - which I think is fair so long as the player knows where they stand. At the end of the day even if you don't get past the Academy you've still done well, better than most of us that's for certain.

Just a thought but with quite a few fans' on here not wanting him, and MC spending time on here, perhaps he's already signed and the club are hoping to slip it in with the signing of Smith to soften the blow

I would never just slip a new signing out just because a few on here don't want him? I'd rather just sign whoever the coach wants, within his playing budget.....

Not wishing to burst anyone's prejudices but not only was Owen not expecting the kick through at that point neither was Collis. I was also under the impression that Owen chased back from the opposite wing when Caro intercepted and it was Riley who he ran passed for his try from the grabber.
I wouldn't want anyone to think that I am having a go at Riley, because I would not do what they do every week, I am just trying to point out that anyone can see what they want.

I wouldn't want Owen, if I were coach, but I am not so if Webster does want him I'd support him.

I didn't want Cockayne and I did a complete pirouette on him. So who knows.

As much as I wasn't too keen on Cockayne the person when we signed him, I actually quite rated Cockayne the player. He was in a much better position to win me over than Owen, who I don't rate at all.
