| Out of interest has it been confirmed anywhere regarding an injury to Walshaw?

| Not really bothered about the choice of the 17 for tomorrow other than the concern regarding the number of players who are probably not match fit ie Raleigh and Keinhorst having one match under their belt after a long period out. Ali hasn't played for a good while and its a while since Wildie and Annakin have played. I wouldn't want us bringing in too many players at once who are not fully match fit when there is no need.

| Walshaw apparently suffered a groin injury according to webster. Trying to get him to 100% as with Kirmond as well, as last time DK was saying he didn't give enough time

| Raleigh and Annakin to miss out for me. If Lautiti is fit then I'd put him on the bench and could be introduced once Tautai and Moore have also come on and softened them up.

If Ali is fit then he should play but not sure whether to drop Raleigh or Gilmour. Both got stuck in last week. Probably Raleigh
Possibly put Ryan back in the centre but Kienhorst really needs game time to get our money's worth out of him.'"
Your 17 is ok I think, I may just be tempted to put Ali in for Andy Raleigh, match fit or not he may be just what we need off the bench!

| Raleigh should miss out for me, he had a stinking second spell against Leeds and was duly hauled off after 5 minutes.
Either he's not right or he had an off night, because by and large i think he does a good stint for us.
Either way with people playing for shirts its a watching brief for him tonight IMO.
Then its either Anakin or Gilmore, and as others have pointed out Anakin is the future despite Gilmore having done little wrong.

| I wasn't that impressed when we took Gilmore on but he's done his fair share of work and hasn't let us down. Had he maaged to catch Jones-Bishop's ankle last Friday he would have been a real hero.

| In his hayday when he was at Wigan Gilmore would have caught Bishop he was a class act. He may have lost a bit of pace but he is an out and out proffesional with bags of natural ability, his biggest problem now is keeping free of injuries, a bit like Ali but he is up there in the same catergory as knocker Norton Bill Ashurst etc. Lets get him signed should not break the bank and his vast experiance will be invaluable for bringing the young players on.

Woah! Slow down there Briggy.
He's good but those two are two of the most skillful forwards in the history of the game.
Gilmour is an athlete who can play centre and second row because he is big and fast. I like him now and liked him then but he isn't Knocker or Ashurst.

I won't even attempt to compare him to heroes of the past but he has been excellent for us in the last few games. His defence is superb, he almost always turns the player onto his back giving the rest of the defence that little bit of extra time to get set.
His contribution to the attack is not bad either, he doesn't quite look like he is going to win you a match but he damn sure won't be the cause of you losing one IMO.
I do think Annakin is the future but I would find it hard at the minute to drop Gilmour.

| What i meant was not like for like but what they brought to the game, when these sort of players were on the field they could spark something into life , just turn a game, its just something these sort of players have as a natural ability its difficult to coach if you see what i mean.

I'm by no means going to say Raleigh hasn't been a decent squad player for us but he shouldn't be in the team. For me he has always been one of the lightweight forwards. He gets dominated in the collision too often for my liking. On the plus he works hard. But, for me, it's Raleigh to miss out in the props unless we have a few injuries.
