| James Healy is the grandson of George Balantyne ( great Trinity prop ), he had a great season with our under 18`s last season and with the help of Squadbuilder signed for our under 19s this season. He was selected for the Scotland under 18s last season. He is a non nonsense prop , like his Grandad, but has a good bit of pace. I think he had a season with the Leeds under 15s, he played for Hunslet Parkside and was picked up by Trinity having been scouted by John Holroyd and Tony Dury. Just hope that he will not suffer because of the stupid new system where under 19`s is the last age group / team before the first team.

| Anyone know his height and weight (imperial please).
Just checking he isn't a midget and all that.
Seriously though I am interested.

| George Ballantyne had plenty of pace.
Often devastating when running out wide.

Thanks for that. Hopefully he will show enough in the coming season to show that he is worth a fulltime deal after it. It seems to be that good young english props are thin on the ground.

He was fantastic in the Leeds under 18`s last season, it will be interesting to see what he looks like against our first team players. He is not a big lad, and I hate to compare, but he is a Jason Robinson, Sam Tomkins, Karl Eastmond style player. When he has ball in hand you are just willing for your players to tackle him and somehow they just don`t get a hand on him, he goes sidways and backwards as fast as he goes forwards. Hope he gets plenty of game time on Boxing day as he is one to watch. That said I do not think he was selected for the England academy side, not sure if he was injured but if not the England selector must not agree with me.'"
I was Joshs club coach for 4 years, he' an outstanding prospect, though had an op last week and will miss out on boxing day.

Coached James on scholarship a few years ago and he was a big lad then, pretty mobile hard working forward.

I usually park on Argie street just off kirkstall road, very steep hill so get as close to the top as possible.
Leaves about a five or ten minute walk to the ground. Usually plenty of space and easy to get away from after the game

Surely Tarmac would have been a more sensible choice?

| Could I just mention that anyone who sees the work that Squadbuilder do and thinks 'I would like to be part of that' can still do so. We have not pushed the brand too much in the last couple of years, but many still contribute and the results are there as there are several players coming through or on the verge of first team footy who have been helped along the way.
To those who think the club should do more, here is one way you can make a small difference for the sake of a couple of quid a week or whatever value you demise.
Squadbuilder is independant, but has ties to the Supporters Trust. If you are interested, PM either myself or feline and we'll get you sorted!
