Can't remember the first game as I was very young and went with my dad. In those days young kids like me were lifted over the turnstyle. Little did I know that I was defrauding the Club but I guess I have put a lot back since to make up for it.

My recollection of the first game I saw when I went every game thereafter and have not stopped since was I think when we played St Helens at the start of the season in 1965 or 1966. I think we won that day.

Got the dates wrong but the games right!!! - thats what old age and nearly 30 years of watching Trinity does to you.





I remember the Wigan game Steve Ella, Mark Graham etc was great to beat them just 18 months after being hammered 72-6 by them

then the week after having the pleasure of my first visit to the Boulevard!! and seeing Ella's late try seal the victory. The natives were restless that day!!

I was born on that day!

Intriguing

Just looked at the Trinity Programmes web site and it looks like the start of my obsession with this great Club when I started going home and away was the 29th August 1966 when we beat St Helens at Belle Vue 28-15.

I remember then going to Crown Flat, Dewsbury in the Yorkshire Cup and drawing and winning the replay at Belle Vue.

All our results from the start of the Club in 1873 are there - fantastic and well worth a look.

1979 for me, as a 9 yr old - went with a neighbour who was a rabid fan and who still stands in the same place.

I don't remember the game; I do remember being petrified though - it was the biggest crowd I'd ever stood in and there were lots of scary blokes shouting.

First started watching the mighty Trin in 1971.Can't remember my first game (senile!) but do remember playing the New Zealand tourists in, i think, my first night match.I got the goalkicker Henry Taranti's? tie ups.In those days it was ok to go on to the field at the end of the game.Happy days! Feel honoured to have seen some real legends over the years. I have to say though that the atmosphere in the ground with the North stand is as good as i've ever experienced.

My first Wembley final, drunk as a skunk! As others have said , did you play for Trinity?

Mine was Bradford as recently as February 2008. We won (26-24?) and it was Danny Brough's debut. I only went to watch the girls in the Wildcat Kittens and was hooked.
