Yes, Trout should have scored first up, but he came back and scored a beauty with a lovely angled, determined run.

Walshaw had his best game in the first team IMO - he didn't put a foot wrong all night and, when he realises what he CAN do, he'll be a superb asset to the club.

The 3 gifted tries in the first half are the culprits here:
1 - if you kick to pacey outside backs you must keep your line
2 - Smith went to kick for Cockayne as he could see the Ben was free on the outside. In restrospect, it may have been better to chip over - the try was on!
3 - The fumble from Mathers - the third significant fumble from him in 2 games - he really needs to cut this out of his game pronto, or he (and we) will have a long season worrying about it!

Big shame, but let's be right - Leeds' season was hanging by a thread and they were always going to be up for it, even if backing up.

Defence was terrible at times, attack at times was sublime.
Switched off for first ten minutes and ten minutes in second half, and they racked up over half their points.
Overall i really enjoyed the game and the atmosphere, well done to all that could travel it was great to be amongst a very vocal wakey support and i think we were largely rewarded.
Bring on Bradford (another winnable game)!!!

Trout did very well to score TBF to the lad but the bombed effort near the line was a shocker.

I really like Walshaw. Out of all our youngsters I think he is the one who could cut it.

I stand by my comment I don't think they are SL quality yet. I think Walshaw will make it, not sure re Trout.

I just feel Mariano is hard done by and should be playing as current standings go I think he is a much better player than Trout and Walshaw I have no problem with those 2 has back up players.

London we should be beating and we should also be beating Cas. Hull was a great result. Don't give the whole feeling sorry for us rubbish. We have a good squad.
