What a role model Ben Cockayne is.
He is a terrific player let down by his moronic attitude. He will always get abuse from sections of the crowd due to his disgraceful past. Whilst I don't condone some of the responses he got from the crowd, he should be professional enough to ignore it. Only an immature petulant idiot would try and bait the crowd. He gets paid to be a professional and it's about time he started acting like it.
We have enough problems with idiots at our clubs without players trying to encourage them. I can't believe some of your fans are condoning his behaviour. Do two wrongs make a right in Wakefield?

all right chill out fella , it will all seem ok in the morning after a nice cry and a big cuddle and a long sleep . just keep away from harry and the TV and you should be OK

It's good to know that Hull fans are holding up the moral integrity of Rugby League. It must have been very time consuming giving Sean long grief when he played for you given his dubious past. In fact I'm surprised Hull fans ever have time to support their team given the number of dubious characters we have knocking around in Super League.
For what it is worth I am no fan of Cockayne and would have preferred him not to have come to our club but then as I have already said our club and the sport long crossed what I would see as the moral line regarding player behaviour so that's what we have to live with. Why should any player have to put up with the sort of grief Cockayne got yesterday and not then be able to celebrate and give a bit back when the tables are turned? I mean if we are taking the moral high ground then most Hull fans should have been removed from the ground before kick off given their foul and abusive chanting towards Ganson as he warmed up, it is a family game after all... |

If a player who has been abused for 80 minutes and had bottles thrown at him after the final hooter
can't celebrate in front of his own supporters at thier own ground then there's something wrong
isn't there?

And lets face it Castleford got fined/warned for the same thing it was a disgrace the abuse players/fans/officials got from a large section of Hull supporters, would it of been better that Hull fans didn't abuse the ref and throw bottles at players in the first place...??? It is Hull fans that need to stand back and take a look at the simpletons around them do the right thing and get them band from our family sport..  |
