I think the guy is entitled to his opinion and I have heard him say some positive things about wakefield on the radio in the past, so I don't think it's because he looks down on us.
I think we have to accept, until we prove otherwise on the pitch, that this is how people outside Wakefield view us! You can fair see them waiting to pounce and put us down! let's prove them wrong!
On another note Garry Schofield was the most over-rated stand off I have seen!

Who cares about his opinion? Certainly not me.

As someone else said there will be plenty of people (experts) predicting us to finish bottom again, and as usual they will all be wrong again.

I think it will take a massive effort from us to make the top 8 but will be disappointed if we finish below 10th/11th. As long as we are still in with a shout of the playoffs with a month to go I think we'll have done well.

He's entitled to his opinion thats for sure and to top that he knows more about the game than any posters who's chipped in on this thread.

So we may or may not like what he say's but having spoken to Gary a few times about RL i believe he's earned the right to offer opinion.

That and the GB shirts he owns does it for me.

Its clear to see why GS hold these views, he only reflecting what the rest of the RL fans think about us (at least from what I hear). I’m really not trying to be negative here but you have to realistic. Our half backs really aren’t proven SL players, thats not to say they won’t be a success. John, Wood still to be proven and Smith was hugely disappointing at Wigan, he didn’t really impress at Cronulla last season. Agars record as a coach is hardly impressive considering hes had the full cap to work with. His youth development and style of rugby leaves a lot to be desired. If any other club made these decisions we would have probably come to same opinion about them. At the end of the day despite my reservations I’m happy to bow down to professional opinion and trust we have the right people in the job making these decisions. These decisions are made for a reason that will benefit our development hopefully.

In reality we could finish anyway between bottom and 8th depending on how kind circumstances are to us. Tim Smith could be man of steel and Issac John could be the new Rangi Chase you just don’t know. One thing I’m not going to do is get upset when other fans/pundits write of our chances. In true Trinity underdog style we should use that as a motivator!
