Are you sure Elias was sent off as I still have the tape he wore around his wrist that night! I was clearing out some of my things from my mums last year and came across this from running in the pitch after the game, so I don't think Elias would have been on, unless he re-emerged from the dressing rooms.

It is also my favourite ever game and I remember Mal Meninga telling me off for shoving my autograph book right in his face. He didn't even play that night but he eventually signed it anyway!

I remember the JT v Elias scrap, it was smack bang in front of me and no holds barred. I remember them both walking but maybe just for 10 mins.

It was also my first experience of what is now a Catalans match at our ground i.e. when the opposition score there is a deafly silence.

If anyone has a copy of the match and can put it on DVD that would be much appreciated. All costs would be reimbursed and I'll collect at a home game next season. Please
