Technically, Hull didn't steel Obst although they definately took full advantage of the situation.
Offering him a two year contract has proven costly in the end though.
The winner in all this? Sam Obst, I can live with that.

No disrespect to JD and Keighley but, in that division, what a waste. It was a shame he had to go in the administrator's fire sale and I would have him back in a breath. Line breaker, lion hearted, totally commited, he was one of the biggest reasons we were always a competitive side and he still has some years in him at SL level in my view. |
