There is a window of opportunity in every players career - for some it's small, others it's large. Halleys was short and appeared a few years ago and now it's gone, tough but that's how it is.

I'd rather us sign someone like Matty Blythe or Lee Smith (better options) than Halley. When Halley left i hoped he would stay but that was years ago now.

As for signing Dowes and Fozzard. Dowes i would be okay with. Fozzard - not so sure (rather see us bring a young prop from NL to build up or stick with korki for a year).

I'm not convinced there isn't more to this guy than meets the eye. Seem to remember him as one of our better players when he was with us at the beginging of the year, although the memory could fail me (scored with his first touch at Wigan away IIRC).... Then he went back to Bradford, really didnt do anything and then he has dropped down a couple of divisions and not even standing out for Keighly (although the last game he had on Sky he did look handy at that level).

I wonder if he has been injured, or off field problems or something else not quite right because he looked every inch a SL winger in his time with us and also picked for Wales.

From his point of view in hindsight he should of stayed with us. He would have had much more opportunities especially this year. How old is he? Can't believe he can't play at a higher level. no offence meant to Cougars

Played in the same team as me, 24. so he isn't a young prospect anymore......sadly.

Halley has the talent, but has his injury concerns that will effect his ability to put in back to back performances at this level.
