What about the guy who was going to buy us the one that fell off his scooter and sadly past away. He was going to buy the club so why can't his family step in?? He was a multiple millionaire.

I think you will have to look elsewhere. France has fingers in pies at Trin, Ossett Town and Dewsbury.
the only way someone will take on the club is if they are in admin so they get a cheap deal.

It's both Eric AND Johnathan who are banned from acting as directors. From memory, they continued trading whilst the company was insolvent, then made attempts to frustrate the officials brought in to sort the mess out. That is why they were given such long banning periods (about 12 years, I believe). Are these really the sort of people we want owning and running the club? People who would happily pull the plug on our long and proud history at the drop of hat just to save a few quid?

No they are not, sadly we may end up with such a person and tbf it seems no one with any dosh and a love of the club is stepping in. |

I sent a message to George Riley at Five Live the other day, asking him to publicise our plight in a positive way; "you never know if a Wakey lad or lass made good might be listening," I thought.
Even as I sent the message, I had a moment of clarity; if you looked up the expression 'clutching at straws', there would be a picture of me sending this message...
