Chariman Ted never wants anyone to get more recognition than him, think about it as soon as a player or anyone tied to the club gets positive recognition Ted starts to work to get rid of that person, Gareth Ellis is a good example as is David Solomona, Willie Poching are others. There are many more examples just think about it. You had a "Super League Coach of the Year" and from that point on he was on the outer as far as Ted was concerned. Move the chairman and the club will move froward.

Did the council not sell us Belle Vue for £1???? How much did it get sold to the developers for and is this going towards the building of the new stadium??? Me thinks not!!

No - we bought the ground back for more than we sold it the council for - albeit some of that was never paid as it became part of the CVA in 2000.
The money from the sale is to be used to 1) keep us afloat and 2) to help us develop the business.
It is not going where you are indicating! |

We don't have a sugar daddy - if one was out there they would find it quite easy to buy Ted out.
In the meantime, and with folk happy to buy £10 tickets from the Con Club, how else do we continue to keep ticking the boxes that SL requires of us? I know, let's get the white flag out and give up eh?  |

Is Mr Richardson doing a Mike Ashley and keeping hold of the club for as long as possible to secure an inflated price for the club. "if" we get another franchise and "if" we get a new stadium the club would be worth much more than if we dont get a new franchise even if we have a shiny new ground. Time to cut his losses and sod off for me!
if nobody knows who Mike Ashley is hes the prat at Newcastle United.
