The quick tap he brought us back for was the correct decision, we had players off side. Our fault for not getting back quick enough, Leeds were all onside when they did same so no comlaints there. Should have been sin bin on bj but we scored when Bibb knocked on so hey ho. Only blanch and glees cost us that game and possibly Lear for picking them but to be fair we're down to the bare bones

Just watched them again I can see why they were given by the word of law but weren't attempts to hold down,bit of tiredness and getting tangled which they usually account for.Albiert was just being too finicky with some of the penalties,at the end of the day you just want him to be consistent through out the match

That's how I saw it. McGuire was holding onto BJ, but it is hard for the ref when he was probably trying to get into position himself.

McGuire should have had 10 for holding BJs legs. A couple of the holding downs were con jobs by Leeds, especially when Peacock appeared to turtle himself, you could clearly see Ferguson made no attempt to turn Peacock. Other than that, I though old Terry Albert did ok. He certainly didn't lose us the game.

Uptoncat is spot on about the two 20m restarts. There are lots of fans that don't seem to understand the laws in respect of this. He pulled you guys back because you had players in an off-side position. The ref can no longer allow a quick restart unless all the attacking players are back behind the 20m line. He pulled you back because they were not all back, simple as. However, the Leeds players were back for theirs and he therefore allowed the tap to be taken. Sorry guys, you were not hard done to there I am afraid!

However, McGuire was very lucky and it should have been a penalty (not sure about a binning though) but also Bibb's knock on was missed, so these things tend to even themselves up over the course of the game.

I agree. Can't blame the ref for the defeat. He had a pretty good game, I thought.
