| One of his main attributes is his link up play for the backs.
Never really got the credit last time around, maybe because he was quiet and an easy target for the boo boys, but the stats don't lie.Outside of him this year you have Nero and Semi both in the top 20 for clean breaks and tries.
So in my view a good signing and welcome back home.

| Don't think Jeffries will get any stick. Yeah he got some when he played against us but so did Korki when he played for Cas.
I don't expect anyone to have a go at Ben what so ever while he is wearing a Wakey shirt

No He played well when in the mood but playing at Trin means he needs to show up week in and week out. AND grow up.

| like grix, would have liked to have kept him but think bj will do a better job. he has been a stand out player for bradford imo. stick him at the back of the pack we are building with brough, think it will be a great combintion. he is not a part time 6 like we have had all season. he is a seasoned professional. look forward to seeing him in a wakey shirt again.

| Why on earth have Bradford not wanted to keep Jefferies if he as been a stand out player like you say. At the end of the day we let him go with a year left on his contract but asked nothing for him, presumably due to his under performing , and the bulls fans have said the same thing about him, he is totally inconsistant .

| Absolutely delighted with this news.
Ben's a proven try-scorer/try-creater at the top level, he's not always been the most consistent but on what I've seen and know of him I'm delighted by his return. Think one of his main failings in the past was when he was expected to grab the bull by the horns and lead the team, I don't think he's got that in his locker, but won't need it alongside Brough, they're a match made in heaven for me.
He's been heavily criticised on his defence in the past, but if I remember right in his last few games in a Trin shirt he readily put his body on the line time after time.
At the end of the day we're getting the right player at the right price, a player who scores tries, sets up tries and (importantly in my eyes) doesn't miss many through injuries.

The difference with Korki is that when he signed for Salford we weren't certain of our place in SL & he was wanting to look after his future. None of us could blame him for that decision. Anyone that plays for Cas (whether they've played for Trinity or not) is going to get stick from us.
BJ will get stick because the general impression was that he wanted to go back to Australia & that's why we released him from the last year of his contract. The next thing we know he's signed for that well-known NRL team in Bradford and we've missed out on a fee/swap.
I'm glad we've recruited an established half back to play alongside Brough next season, however, I do feel that BJ needs to eat a little humble pie before he can avoid all the stick.

Why not he got plenty of stick last time he was wearing a Wakey shirt.
